Two old guys boarding...

Leon and I headed up yesterday to Breckenridge to snowboard and had a great time, although it was pretty cold! We met up with Christopher and Rachel on the slopes as well, and they were all enjoying themselves although a little chilly.

Annette and Leon left this morning at 6:30am for another day on the slopes(I'm looking after Liam, as Annette did yesterday).

Liam and I plan a busy day of swimming, a little shopping and a nap or two!

More Christmas Photos...catching up

Here are a few more pictures from Christmas day. We just found out that it was a record setting snowfall....almost 8 inches (beat the record from 1894).

Rachel, Chris and the boys (visiting from Sydney) headed into the mountains today to stay at the condo they rented. Leon and I had planned on heading up tomorrow but with another storm heading our way it may not happen until Friday now.

Christmas Day 2007...later that day

We all had a great Christmas Day with a walk up the hill near our house. It was -11C with the windchill so a chilly walk for everyone, but very refreshing!

We had gone for a walk to the same spot the day before and it was warm enough that Liam joined us in his backpac.

Dinner worked out really well on Christmas eve and Christmas day. We had a traditional (more or less) Polish dinner on Christmas eve and then a 23lb turkey on Christmas day. Needless to say there is a lot left over!

Christmas Day 2007

We woke up to a white Christmas today! Everyone pitched in and helped out shovelling the driveway, and it was a unique experience for our visitors from Sydney who are used to the beach rather than snow at Christmas.

I'll put another update later today with some photo's of little Liam opening some of his presents from Santa!

Count down to Christmas 2007...

We are awaiting my friend Leon (from Canada) and family from Australia to arrive tomorrow. We are looking forward to having a full house and bought a huge turkey today!

Liam is doing really well and can almost say "ho ho ho" ... it's more like "whoa whoa whoa"!

Getting ready for Christmas...

Liam is growing faster and faster - learning more each day and continually enteraining us!

He is now talking up a storm and able to say a number of words or expressions: mamma, daddy, baby, ball, dog, "uh oh" (when he drops something), elmo and "ta" which is what he says when he's pointing at "sanTA". Close!

Back home...

We were away from Denver for about a week (Annette in Jersey, me in Europe) but are thankfully back all together. Here are a few pics of Liam and his cousin; and him helping us decorate the house.

Liam loves the Camera...

Liam can't seem to escape the camera! But judging by the smile....we figure he's enjoying himself!

Hanging out in Maui for a week!

Annette, Liam, Trevor, Jan (my parents) and I just spent the last week in Maui and had a great time!!

Liam loves the beach and he was very much attached to his yellow little shovel. He would wake up VERY early and be standing at our hotel door with bucket and shovel in hand, just itching to get down to the beach.

We also took a fantastic helicopter ride; Annette and I did a dive and saw some huge sea turtles; and we all got lots of sun and relaxation.

Liam playing...

Liam had a good time today playing with his grandparents. We went for a short walk, had some NYC style pizza and played in the sand. A relaxing Sunday!
