Farewell to Florida...

Liam and I are returning to snowy Denver tomorrow (we can't wait to see Daddy!). We enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the beach. Along with Liam's grandparents, Jan and Trevor, we visited with Avril and Eric, our aunt and uncle visiting from Ireland, as well as many friends of The Smiths from Canada. The little guy was the center of attention and loved by all. I hope he manages back at home with only mom and dad.

A Day at the Beach...

Liam and I enjoyed a day on the beach yesterday. We had a great time, but missed daddy(he had to be back in Atlanta today). We are soaking up our last few days of sunshine in Florida and Liam is enjoying spending time with family. We will be back in Colorado on Thursday. Enjoy the pictures!

A day out in Destin, FL

Sun Day...

Liam was at the beach today with Mom. I was in Atlanta but was able to change my flights to return to Destin to enjoy the weekend with the family.

The Truman Show...

Today we went to a little sea side village that was used to film the movie "The Truman Show" - Liam loved the little town and we had a nice day out.

Florida holiday...

Annette, Liam and I are now all in Destin, FL with my parents. They come to Destin each year during the winter months to escape the cold in Toronto - although this year it has been a bit chilly here too.

Out of hibernation...

We are enjoying beautiful, sunny weather in Colorado (a normal winter). The snow is melting and we have been out walking in the neighborhood - enjoying the sun. Liam is thrilled to be out in the fresh air and sporting his new shades for our outings.

Annette and Liam had a good week and lots of fun with some play groups and starting a 'signing' class so that we can start to communicate with him in the coming months about food, hot, cold and other basic things.

I was in Atlanta for a day and Orlando for a few at a work event so was away for more nights than usual and certainly more than I can handle! I missed them both horribly and am now happy to be home.

We plan to do another 'photo session' with Liam later today so if they turn out I'll put up some of the good ones. Fortunately he's very easy to make laugh and smile :)
