Pre-Easter Egg hunt...

Today we went to an easter egg hunt 'party' that was at a local place nearby. Annette was on the organizing committee so we were there early to hide the eggs and get the place organized. It was good to meet a number of the Mom's that Annette is now friends with and their husbands.

Liam had a great time and even got to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap! Fortunately he thought it was fun and not scary even though the bunny was a bit spooky looking.

Annettte also made a whole tray of cup-cakes which were a big hit - she is now known as queen baker of these events :)

Liam has also hit two important milestones! He is now able to get into the crawl position but he hasn't yet figured out how to make his arms and legs work together for movement forward (he just kind of rocks in place). He is also now talking to us! Well he is saying ba ba ba...which is a good start!

Last Weekend in Jersey...

Over the weekend we spent time with family and friends before we head back to Colorado on Tuesday afternoon. On Sunday, we were on Long Island celebrating Ava's first birthday ; ) Ava is my cousin Yola and Vin's daughter. It was a lot of fun! Everyone was able to see how much Liam has grown and how cute he is of course....

Liam is having a wonderful time visiting with family and friends in NJ. This morning we had brunch with my girlfriends from university(pictures of Liam flirting to come). This afternoon, he had some fun with his cousins Adam and Kaia...

The Garden State...

We're in New Jersey now for a couple of weeks. Annette and Liam flew out on Tuesday and I arrived on Thursday. We've been visiting the past few days and Liam is really starting to eat now...he loves his oatmeal!

He also really enjoys bathtime and splashes around with lots of laughing :)

Sunday hiking...

Today we had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful weather!

We went for a hike at one of the state parks near by with our friends, Carin and Chris and their daughter Ryleigh. In the evening, we had Joel, Heather and Austin (their son) over for dinner.

Annette will be packing up tomorrow as she is heading off to New Jersey on Tuesday - I'll be meeting her there on Thursday.

Another year older...

This past week was a busy one with me travelling a bit again. It was my 37th Birthday on Wednesday and I was - for most of the day - in transit across the USA :(

Liam is doing really well though and he is steadily beginning to eat more (only rice cereal though...no fruits or veggies for another month).

I also got some pictures from my good friend Roberto. He has a daughter named Ariadna and they live in Madrid. Roberto and I used to work together in Poland (when we were single) and we are now both the happiest guys that we know.....with great wives and kids! How life changes!

Feed me!!!

Liam had his first taste of solid (well, not completely liquid but hardly solid) food yesterday. He has now reached the age where he can start eating rice cereal (1 table spoon). He seemed to enjoy eating and no ill effects so we will be feeding him each day with rice cereal for a while...then onto other types of cereal and after another few weeks we introduce veggies and then fruit (no kielbasa for a while)

He also started to use a sippy cup and did a great job of holding it on his own (smart kid). He's growing up so fast!
