Old friends..and new (little) friends..

My Spanish mate Roberto, with whom I spent about 2 years working in Krakow with, sent some photos of his lovely little girl Ariadna hiking - just like Liam with me!

Another very good friend of ours Michal, who actually introduced Annette and I to each other, was visiting Roberto in Spain. Michal lives in Krakow, Poland with his lovely wife and twin boys.


Liam attended a birthday party today at our local park and made some new little friends.

Summer Saturday...

Today the weather has been great so we took Liam to the pool in the morning and for a walk to the park (and on the swing) this afternoon.

Liam is now crawling really well and we have to keep our eye on him at all times! He's fast!

End of the weekend...

This weekend we were busy taking Liam hiking, to the pool and for his first time on a swing. Despite making a good start on the hike Liam decided he didn't like the backpack carrier we have for him (which I wear) so we had to take turn carrying him.

The scenery (see pics) is amazing though (at the State Park) and we had great weather.

As for the swing...he wasn't so sure until some little girls got on the swing next to him...and then he was all smiles.

Back in Denver....

We arrived back into Denver last night and we're all settled back at home now. Liam was great on the flight again - for the most part - and it was a pretty uneventful flight home.





We are having some friends over for dinner this weekend and off for another hike but otherwise just relaxing. Liam ate peas today for the first time and although a little unsure at first - he was soon enjoying them!

Liam is now a crawling machine! He can get around well now which makes our life a little more difficult - but he seems happy to be able to get around on his own.

Sideways...in San Francisco

We are in San Francisco for the weekend and really enjoying the scenery and city. Yesterday we went on a wine tour (all day with Liam!) and had a great time.

We visited 4 vineyards and tasted some great wines. Liam was the life of the bus and we got lots of compliments about how good he was. The only noise he made was when he thought something was funny and he laughed hysterically!

The picture below is at the San Francisco Aquarium - Liam saw his first shark, jelly fish and underwater 'tunnel'.

Today we went to Fisherman's wharf and then on a boat cruise underneath the Golden Gate Bridge. It was Liam's first time on a boat...and he fell asleep about 10 minutes into it!

Bath time...

Liam is growing up quickly and is keen on his bath time now. He is almost crawling so we have to keep our eye on him!

He laughs pretty much non-stop in the tub :)

6 month photoshoot...

A Day at the Zoo....

Liam and I went to the zoo the other day with his friends Austin and Ryleigh. We had a great time seeing all the animals.

Hiking...

We had a great day hiking today with our friends Heather and Joel. Liam loved his new backpack and he and his buddy Austin hung out in their highchairs while we had lunch. A great day that tired us all out!
