Summer is here!

We returned from Seattle and are settled back into Denver again. We have all been enjoying the great weather and Liam has been running around with very little on (except his shoes!) while playing on our deck (in the shade of course) with bowls of water and lots of cups to fill and empty..and then fill, empty, fill, empty.... it never seems to get old for him!

Widbey Island...

We went to Widbey Island yesterday and had a great time. Liam and Lewis (Liam's his 3rd cousin) got along really well and ate some ice cream, played at the playground and walked around the little town together.

Seattle day out...

We had a good afternoon yesterday and went to Snoqualmie Falls - below is Liam and I down by the river.

We stayed with Tayna, my cousin, last night and Liam and her son Lewis read some books together.
The city is great - we toured around today and had a great time hiking, seeing Pike's Fish market and just enjoying the great weather.

In Seattle...

Annette and Liam flew out yesterday to join me in Seattle (I have a new client here) as we decided to spend the long weekend touring the area together. We are also going to meet up with my cousin, Tanya, and her husband and son which we're really looking forward too.

Annette's parents left yesterday after spending about 10 days with us. We all had a great time and Liam already misses them, having asked repeatedly for them this morning!

Liam had a great time with his grandparents and Annette at the Zoo today.

Mothers Day...

We had a good day at the park today on Mothers day. Annette and I returned from our mini-honeymoon (we stayed at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs) away while Annette's parents looked after Liam. He did really well and was no problem.

Friday night BBQ..

We had our friends over last night for a BBQ and the kids all had a great time. There were a few bumps and scraps as the kids played together in the backyard but everyone had a great time.

Annette and I are off for the night to a nice hotel about 45 minutes away (to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary), and we're leaving Liam with Annette's parents who are visiting for about 10 days from New Jersey.
