Keeping busy...

Sorry we haven't put any new pictures up recently - we've been very busy with lots going on and me traveling a bit more than usual.

Annette is doing really well and our little girl is growing/developing on track - less than 3 months away now!

Liam is enjoying his school (Tues/Thurs for 4 hours) and really becoming talkative - making us laugh a lot.

I'm doing fine but traveling a lot more than I'd like to all of a sudden - Portugal, London, Florida, Seattle, New Zealand....ugh.   But I'm keeping them as short as possible so as not to miss time with Annette and Liam.

Happy Birthday to Annette & Liam

Annette had her birthday (31) yesterday and Liam's is today (2). Annette's parents left earlier in the week after spending a great week with us. We had a great time in Aspen and we had a pre-birthday party for Liam - some pictures below.

An incredible day in the mountains

We had a great day today and saw some amazing scenery - the best I think we've ever seen in Colorado.   We were at the Maroon Bells.

Aspen for the weekend

We all headed to Aspen for the weekend (about a 3 hr drive from our house) and we're planning on relaxing and trying to avoid shopping in the expensive shops.    It was an incredible drive here through the mountains and hopefully the return drive (weather) will be as good.

Two Year old Party...

Liam and his friends, Amelia and Austin, had a joint 2 year birthday celebration today in our local park.   The Mom's had organized a bouncy-castle, cake, pizza etc and everyone had a great time.

Liam's first day of (pre)School!

Liam was a brave little guy today as he went off to his first day of school!   He will be attending Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-12:30.

We got him dressed this morning in his school uniform and he was very excited about going to school, rushing Annette out the door so he could get there and meet his teacher.

We decided that I would say bye to him at home so as not to make it to big a deal, and that seemed to work out well as he said goodbye without any trouble, knowing that he was off to school and Daddy was going to work.

Annette said he was great when she dropped him off and simply said "bye Mommy" and then went right into the class.

End of the long weekend

Liam has done really well this weekend adapting to not having his pacifier.  It was much less painful for all of us than we predicted and he's rarely asked for it the past few days.

My cousin Rachel is here from Australia and we've been just enjoying doing things locally and playing with Liam.
