We had a great Thanksgiving with some friends and a deep fried Turkey (our first, and not our last!). 

This morning we woke up to snow!

And over the past few days we have been getting our little girl's room ready for her arrival - Liam has already been a great help!

A visit back to November 17...2001

On this day 7 years ago Annette and I first met in Krakow, Poland.    I went out with some of my work colleagues for drinks (my good friend Michal encouraged me to join them) and they also happened to be Annette's MBA schoolmates.   The rest is history...

I thought it would be fun to look back a little by sharing some pictures from around that time....

Daddy & Liam...

We had a good weekend and Liam was great fun today - he even used the potty again today (3 for 3!) ....ah, the things that excite parents eh!

I'm not traveling this week which I'm really happy about - then a quick trip to Seattle the week following and I enter my 'no-fly' zone as we wait for our little girl to arrive.  Liam is excited too!

A fun birthday party - with Balloons!

We were at a little girl's birthday party today where they had a balloon 'expert' who crafted all sorts of things for the kids. The video below is just too funny not to share - Liam loved it!

Liam's first Parent-Teacher

We had Liam's first parent-teacher meeting today and Liam is apparently the head of his class!   They said that his vocabulary, manners, recognition of colors, shapes and numbers etc were all "advanced" (her words, not mine)

We're obviously very proud :)

Liam made a himself 'crown' today at school that he was really pleased about too :)

A historical moment : Obama wins!

I thought I'd mark today with a few shots of the headlines to remind us in the future (mainly Liam) of what happened in Liam's life when he was only two years old (and like me, unable to vote!).  Right now Liam is only interested in playing at the park, with play-dough and with his plastic animals and not in politics....but little does he (or we) know how yesterday's election may well change his future for ever!

We have high hopes for President-elect Barack Obama .  Our 2-year old Liam and our soon to be born daughter will have to cope with whatever comes of the next 4 years down the line.    

Visiting the Aquarium

We went to the Denver Aquarium today with Liam to show him some sharks, fish (Nemo in particular), turtles etc. These are pictures from outside of the Aquarium - it was 77 F today!
