Liam and Lily - on the last day of 2008

We had a great morning playing with Liam and Lily.    Liam helped give Lily a bath and then they played in our bed together.  Liam has been a great big brother and is really gentle with Lily, being careful with her and wanting to help look after her.

  

Tonight we are staying in and having a quiet dinner after the kids go to bed.  Happy new year everyone!

A day at the Zoo

Today we had a great day at the Zoo.  It was about 60 F, sunny and absolutely beautiful.   In the afternoon Grandma & Grandpa Smith took Liam to Chucky Cheese for some fun and games - which he loved.

Lily is 3 weeks old

Lily will be 3 weeks old tomorrow and we can't believe how much she has grown and changed since she was born. We can't tell who she looks like, but we can all agree that she is pretty adorable (although the photos REALLY don't do her justice!).

Baby Lily is growing...

We had a nice day yesterday just relaxing.   Liam is still enjoying his Thomas train and all the other toys that Santa brought.  

Lily is doing really well and growing each day!

We had a great Turkey dinner, deep fried in our new cooker, and all the other things one would expect. We are just relaxing now playing with Liam and winding down after a great day.

Merry Christmas 2008

We were up at 5:45am this morning with Liam - he was obviously excited about Santa coming and could not wait to get up. Here is a video of Liam having fun on his new train!

We are all relaxing now after breakfast and will soon start preparing the Turkey for tonight. I bought a deep fryer for it so will hopefully be able to make a great turkey for us all!

Christmas Eve 2008

We had a good day today and are having a traditional (more or less) Polish Christmas Eve. Liam is excited about Santa coming tomorrow so it should be great fun!

Lily continues to grow!

Things are going well with Lily - she had her 2 week appointment ( a few days early) on Friday and got a clean bill of health. She is now 21 inches long and weights 8pnds 6.5oz, which is above her birth weight so great news.

Some new...some old

Here are some new and old pictures.   I bought a slide scanner and have started to capture a few of our old (1970's!) slides from when I was young.   Over the coming months (likely year) we will be scanning a whole bunch to keep them for posterity.
