A great Saturday...

We had a great day out today with an early morning hike up the hill near our house (see picture with crow); and then we went to swimming lessons, a birthday party and swimming at our local pool.   It was a busy day and the weather was great all day!

Morning at the Park..

The kids and I spent the morning at one of our favorite parks. Liam and Lily enjoyed playing around on the grass, Liam enjoyed Lily "tickling" his face and ears. As you can see, they had a great time!

Great Father's Day

Today the kids and I made Ross' day special by taking him out to breakfast and then we spent an amazing morning at the Hudson Gardens. Liam and Lily were a perfect pair playing in the grass, feeding the ducks and relaxing on the blanket all morning! We even managed lovely photos of all of us. 

Saturday party

We had a great day out today - I took Liam to swim class (he is doing great!) and then we met Annette and Lily for one of Liam's friends 3 year old birthday party at a local park.

Starting the weekend

Liam had his friend Amelia over to play for a few hours which, for the most part, was great.  Unfortunately Liam skipped his nap time today so he was a little bit on edge about things and not the best at sharing with her!  

Lily and Alan played together - he's 1 month older than her and about 3 times the size!

Romp and roll....

I'm not traveling this week so had some fun with Liam at Romp and Roll.  He seemed to have fun and enjoyed all the 'activities' that they put on.   Lily and Annette came along too and Lily was watching her big brother the whole time.

Back in Colorado...

We all flew back together on Saturday after spending a week in New Jersey with Annette's family.  The flight was pretty uneventful and fortunately not delayed by much.   The kids are both, thankfully, really good at travel and very well behaved.   

We had a great day today and settled back in.  Liam loved getting reacquainted with his toys and we had a fantastic BBQ dinner (filet and some bacon wrapped scallops).    Here are some pics we took at our local park...

Lily 6 Month's old!

Lily is growing up quickly and is already 6 months old!  She is an active little girl and loves to smile!   She has started eating baby food now and although we're not sure how much goes into her rather than on her, she seems to be enjoying it :)

She learned to sit up on her own in the past month and loves to play with Liam - she is constantly amused by him and always interested in what he's doing (not sure he's happy about that all the time, but he loves her)

Lily's Christening...

While in New Jersey, Lily was baptized in a lovely ceremony, surrounded by family, at Holy Cross Church, the same church Annette and I were married in 4 years ago.
