Zoo today, downtown and other random pictures!

When we were in the mountains yesterday we got caught in a storm (with hail) and had to take

They were figuring out what animals to see at the Zoo!

Great day in the mountains

We had a great day yesterday in the mountains. We took Roberto and Blanca (+ kids) up to the mountains with our other friends Euan and Anna. With 6 adults and 8 kids between us all, it was a busy day with some hiking (and some hail!), ice cream, picnics etc. We also met up with my good friend Alistair who lives in Frisco for a few hours - so a great day all around!

Kim stopped by (she and I worked together in Germany for a while) when she was in town, so it was good timing as she was able to see Roberto too!

End of holidays

Final days...at the Cottage

We had a great time at the cottage, and here is a short list of some of the highlights so we remember:

- Liam swam to pine cone island in the rain

- Lily loved swimming at all hours of the day (starting before 7am some mornings!)

- Annette wakeboarded for the first time (and got up her very first time)

- Ross learned how to catch air (on purpose rather than by luck)

- Luke dipped his toes in the water but needs to wait till next year to join in any water sports

- Laim and Lily saw frogs and crawfish (and caught and released both)

- Liam and Lily went tubbing
