Father and son trip to London

Liam and I went to London for the weekend to meet up with his Colorado mate Evan, and his dad James.  We had a great time touring all the major sites and covered a LOT of ground in a short time.  Great fun had by all of us and easy travel to/from London....so we'll be doing more weekend trips on Ryanair!

Fall is here...

Or more of an Indian summer.... The weather is absolutely stunning and warm with lots of fall colors. Today Ross and I went for lunch and bike ride before picking up the kids.

Weekend in Zakopane...

We rented a car this weekend (a little one) and headed south to Zakopane.   We were fortunate to have found a nice place to stay for the Saturday night, so after driving down and exploring Zakopane we had a good dinner and nights sleep.  Then we embarked on a 6.25 mile hike just down the road from our hotel.    The kids (mostly) did great and we even got to explore an cave discovered in 1936….it was 571 meters long of underground exploring (caving).    The fall weather was beautiful and we stopped on the way back to equip ourselves with ice skating equipment.   The school puts on Thursday night skating and the kids were very keen…so we’re hoping the Canadian comes out of them and they continue to enjoy being out on the ice.
