Old friends..and new (little) friends..

My Spanish mate Roberto, with whom I spent about 2 years working in Krakow with, sent some photos of his lovely little girl Ariadna hiking - just like Liam with me!

Another very good friend of ours Michal, who actually introduced Annette and I to each other, was visiting Roberto in Spain. Michal lives in Krakow, Poland with his lovely wife and twin boys.


Liam attended a birthday party today at our local park and made some new little friends.

Summer Saturday...

Today the weather has been great so we took Liam to the pool in the morning and for a walk to the park (and on the swing) this afternoon.

Liam is now crawling really well and we have to keep our eye on him at all times! He's fast!

End of the weekend...

This weekend we were busy taking Liam hiking, to the pool and for his first time on a swing. Despite making a good start on the hike Liam decided he didn't like the backpack carrier we have for him (which I wear) so we had to take turn carrying him.

The scenery (see pics) is amazing though (at the State Park) and we had great weather.

As for the swing...he wasn't so sure until some little girls got on the swing next to him...and then he was all smiles.
