Liam and Lily in NJ
We are having a good time visiting with everyone here although the weather is cold and windy. I leave for Denver tomorrow and Annette will stay on for a few days with the kids.
We had a birthday cake in honor of Lily turning one in a little over a week!

Thanksgiving 2009
We celebrated Thanksgiving in NJ this year and had a great meal that everyone enjoyed with all the traditional dishes, including a big turkey!
The morning of Thanksgiving, we felt very adventurous and took the kids on the bus to Manhattan to see the Macys Day parade. We arrived in Times Square in the hustle and bustle of it all. Needless to say, we were not of the 5am crowd, so we were not front and center, however we did get to see the big, balloon floats in the air and kept the kids busy with a lot of cruising around Midtown in their strollers.
The crowds were tremendous, but the kids seemed to enjoyed the craziness of it all. Liam really liked watching the break-dancing street performers and was very impressed with FAO Schwartz. We ended the morning with slices of ny pizza and then a sleepy ride back to the other side of the river.

Lily at 11 months old....
Sorry, we haven't been taking many photos lately, but we are doing well. Lily is almost a year old and the time has gone by so quickly! She is such a doll and a happy little girl. She loves to dance and we hope to post a video soon. Liam and Lily are getting along well and trying to "play" together more and more. Liam's favorite game lately is "house" or "home" as he calls it. Ross and I alternate being the "baby" and he is always the daddy...Lily is usually napping or plays another "baby" His imagination is great!
Last week, Liam had his first field trip to the Lone Tree police station. I was a chaperone and was more relaxed than expected. The kids were well behaved, especially around the jail ; )
All the photos of the last week or so are from my iphone, so apologize for the quality. Better than nothing!
