We celebrated Thanksgiving in NJ this year and had a great meal that everyone enjoyed with all the traditional dishes, including a big turkey!The morning of Thanksgiving, we felt very adventurous and took the kids on the bus to Manhattan to see the Macys Day parade. We arrived in Times Square in the hustle and bustle of it all. Needless to say, we were not of the 5am crowd, so we were not front and center, however we did get to see the big, balloon floats in the air and kept the kids busy with a lot of cruising around Midtown in their strollers.
The crowds were tremendous, but the kids seemed to enjoyed the craziness of it all. Liam really liked watching the break-dancing street performers and was very impressed with FAO Schwartz. We ended the morning with slices of ny pizza and then a sleepy ride back to the other side of the river.
