Temple of Zeus, Hadrian's Arch and the Acropolis Museum
We had a good day out today visiting more historical sites and learning more about the Parthenon and the Acroplis at the museum. We saw the Temple of Zeus and ruins of the ancient baths and Hadrian's Arch. The museum was very modern and well laid out with the Parthenon relics on display. We also enjoyed a movie on the history. We had lunch then hopped on a tour bus to get a break from walking. We got off at Monastriaki square, which was full of people and a packed flea market with new stuff and lots of garage sale type old stuff. We walked around searching for a sun hat for Lily. She couldn't decide on one...we stopped for a little while at a cafe to watch the world go by. The kids saw a couple cats wandering around and we also worked on out postcards. The clouds rolled in, so we got a break from the heat. We ended the day at the pool.
